I did not think that it was possible – that you could ever transform something as beautiful as a Porsche car into … this.  Now, if you don’t know the story, you are probably wondering exactly what ‘this’ is.  Well, a Dutch car dealership decided to celebrate Sinterklaas – a holiday inspired by Santa Claus.  The holiday is usually held in The Netherlands on the evening of December 5th and it is by far the best holiday.

People go all out, just like we do for Christmas and so that is why this particular dealership decided to cover up the Porsche in Centrum Gelderland’s Choco997.  They are using about 175 kilos of chocolate, which equals out to be about 385 pounds.

The dipper Porsche is going to stay on display until Christmas and then – it will be taken apart and hopefully eaten!

Although my little Vibe does not qualify for the Cash 4 Clunkers program, this program is gaining all sorts of attention from everyone really – the dealerships are extremely busy and people are taking the feds up on their offer … however, what the feds did not anticipate on is just how many people were going to take them up on their offer.  During the first few days of this program – already, the clunkers are taking over.

Dealerships this weekend are worried that they can not keep track of all of the trade-ins and they might have to suspend the program.  Personally I think that is stupid.  People are NOW buying cars – why would you stop that again?  The economy needs this and if they go over their budget a little bit on all of the trade ins … well, they should have thought about that.

Read up on it – you’ll see if they re canceling the program or not … I hope not though!
